A man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting another man in the stomach in Brisbane.
The altercation happened when the alleged victim, a 34-year-old man, entered a green sedan in the car park of a Spring Hill 7-Eleven around 2am on Monday morning.
Police said following their initial investigations that it was here where they believe a second man inside the car shot him in the stomach.
A 33-year-old Camp Hill man has since been charged with attempted murder, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and arson of a motor vehicle.
Police allege the two men are known to each other.
The 33-year-old is fronting court today.
Video footage of the alleged incident shows the wounded man exiting the car clutching his side, appealing for help from a person in a nearby car vehicle.
The green car is seen driving off. It was found hours later, on fire and abandoned on Nudgee Beach Road.
The 34-year-old was driven to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital by a bystander, where he received surgery for a non-life-threatening injury.
